The show came and went in a flash. I'd waited an age for my Scoop/ London Fashion Week debut, then no sooner had I arrived at the Saatchi Gallery, located my very own stand adorned with stunning wall art and chic furniture, I was in dismantle mode. The 3 days in-between were nothing short of a whirlwind...
I was in a spin. Hand-shaking, business card-swapping, outfit-changing, selfie-taking, instagramming, tweeting, people watching, rail-reshuffling, fleeting exchanges, introductions, promises to follow up.....Buyers, Press, Bloggers, Photographers, Agents, Boutique owners - visitors came from far and wide. I tried to remember names and faces.

Anxiety crept in during quieter periods as I watched other busier stands. "Might as well reshuffle the rail. How about putting the Colour Block Sweater at the front of Autumn Winter? Visitors seem drawn to the pop of coral, excited when they discover the metal side zips, like shiny hidden treasures"...."No, let's leave the logo sweater at the front of Spring Summer. It has caught the eye of passers by who sound out the words "Ille De Cocos" as they wander past. Perhaps they will remember us..."
In the taxi back to the office, I made my descent back to Earth, arriving in Notting Hill with both feet firmly on the ground. An experience to remember, a foundation to build upon, leads to follow up. The journey continues...
